Christine is stuck! She has five chapters to go on her latest novel. She knows the ending, but is struggling with how to get there. If you are writer, pray for her. If you are not a writer, pray for her. This novel will make us rich or get us killed. Win both ways.

~Evangelism going well, but living in a small community inhibits sharing details in print. Doors are opening.

~Christine and I have been inviting people over for a meal almost weekly. One week we had three hospitality meals. I underestimated one such meal, and we ended up with ten people that evening. Everyone had a great time. Christine died and rose from the dead the next morning.

~Monday: Group Bible study in Mark. More Bible students than I ever had in my college classes for the last six years.

~Tuesday: Teaching Home School group 9th-10th grade chemistry and physics. Five students. One hour a week. They are such a sharp and funny group. Great sense of humor.

~Wednesday: 7am Bible study. Not leading it. Nobody should have to get up before 7am. It's still dark outside!

~Wednesday. Joined the VFW. This will be interesting. Church youth group: I've been asked to teach once a month.

~Extensive talk with two young ladies about the mission field. One landed in Romania last week. Exciting!

July - Every local town had a parade.

August - 100 degrees for two weeks. Bought a swamp cooler (whoever heard of having to cool a swamp).

September

~Attended two rodeos, one with Michael’s family and one with Erich and Deb. Julie is an occupational therapist. She had no idea what a rodeo was like. When the bull riders came out, she gasped. “Lots of new customers!”

~Preached at Priest River Community Church on one Sunday, then preached twice at Red Bench’s yearly Family Retreat at Waits Lake north of Spokane. This is retirement?

~Getting settled. Closed down the garden this week. Season over. Lost some veggies to 40 mph winds, intense heat and a billion grasshoppers, but harvested enough tomatoes to make Italy jealous.

With no more twice-a-day garden watering, can we start investigating our new state?

BIBLE COLLEGES: Since we have joined the Christian Missionary and Alliance Denomination, we’ve stumbled across the college they use to train most of their missionaries. We are totally impressed.
Crown College

MONTANA BIBLE COLLEGES: All three STRONG on missions, as well as Bible.

Frontier School of the Bible. BA degree. No fluff.
